Introduction of Gypsy Needlework exhibition

urgen Lehl discovered these Gypsy embroideries called Rallis
on a trip through the Sind desert.
The nomadic people stitch together
distinctive combinations of colours in intricate patterns,
using their old fabrics to create unique new pieces
such as bed covers and mats in many different sizes.

This month, these textiles will be on sale at the Kiyosumi Babaghuri shop
from the 16th to the 20th of December.
